Oppinion about these wheels

I am contemplating on getting these for my Jeep. Does anyone have them? Picture of your Jeep with these would be great. What do you guys think about it? Pros and Cons:

Definitely better than a lot of wheels but not my favorite...

I'd have to see them on the jeep first to actually say though.

They are growing on me though...look kinda sweet in the pic.

Looks like it would be hard to clean the mud out of all those bolt heads.

They look nice, but I would see them better suited for a pre-runner than a jeep. But the main thing is if you like them or not, jeeps show a lot of individuality by how they are put together.

I will guess your going to go with the 5 lug vs the 6 lug shown? Anyway, they look heavy for some reason, not sure that is the right word, but they don't make me want to rush and and get them. But its your jeep, get what you like.

Not my flavor, either, but to each his own!I'm more traditional, and don't dig "trendy" wheels, myself!Beadlocks are a P.I.T.A. for a daily driver, and fake beadlocks are for posers!

They look like they could be good and probably would look better mounted with tires.

I would say that a wheel like that is begging for a big-assed tire...like a 35" or a 33" with a real aggressive tread pattern.

In other words, to me it is a strong wheel that would need a strong tire or it would look out of place.

If you go that route be sure to take some pics and show them off.

Good luck!

Those look even more ghetto than the first ones! Why not buy a 1994 Caprice, lift it 9",and put some 28"spinner chrome throwing star junts on it?

If you are going to be doing any trail riding then I wouldn't go with the black wheels. They look like they would probably get pretty bashed up... I like the first ones better but I agree with danthebugman. If you get the first set you would have to go with an agressive tire or it will look out of place. Personally I went with black steel wheels. They are virtually indestuctable and they are extremely easy to clean! I like a toned down look though...

Agreed, whats wrong with good old soft eights, or something similar that is not so gody as the ones you are looking at. Show some pics of the tires you plan on putting on them and your jeep.

Sometimes people like to express their individuality. Sometimes they like to not follow the pack, step outside the box and do something just a little different to set themselves apart.

Knockin' on the guys choices just because they aren't what you'd do seems a tad unnecessary.

Since he asked for opinions, by all means give it, but it can be done nicely rather than telling him he's a goof for wanting something different....

what I REALLY like is the kmc rockstar rims. These are hot. I saw some on a truck and the guy painted the star the same color as his truck. Looked really good.

I think they need more rubber around them but they look cool I am thinking 35" bogger's or ltb's and a 17"rim it is not for everyone but I really like the black and silver the fact that it is skulls seems a bit childish but if I find a good 5 spoke with chrome and black I may opt for them not sure yet

The KMC Enduro beadlocks are awesome wheels. They work great. Here is my buddy's rig with them installed.

Also, depending on your states laws, beadlocks may not be streetable/the fuzz might hassle you...

having lived in MI, IN and rural IL, I have never met a cop who knew beadlocks were not DOT approved. And I never, ever heard anyone get pulled over for having them.
You can always plead ignorance and say you bought the rig w/ 'em on. More cops are looking to bust you for not having your plate lights working than beadlocks. (and I know a fairly large percentage of jeepers don't have a working license plate light. way more than are rocking bead locks.)

It's your call (LEGAL DISCLAIMER) and to my knowledge Hutchinson beadlocks are the only DOT approved beadlock rims out there.

However, my distaste for chrome on jeeps (and shiny polished silverish things in general) is well documented in WF. But do what you want, and I won't rag on you for having chrome as long as you don't rag on me for having red lug nuts.

Um, those aren't chrome. They're polished aluminum.
