options for jerry cans and hi-lift for tj

considerring smittybilts bolt on rear where tire mlunts but just looking at my other price wise options

This is how I did it.......butt wellded the mounts to the frame so that there were no bolts showing. Fits just under the the tire and leaves enough room to mount some fog lights for backing up. On top of the SRC smittybilt tire carrier is 2 pretapped holes that I built and mounted a tool shovel and axe carrier on.

My next project is to fab up a gas can carrier for it. I can build it for about $30.00 bucks verses the rock hard for $125.00. I have confirmed that the rock hard gas carrier will fit the smittybilt tire carrier.

I highly recommend the Orfab tire carrier. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it in my opinion. I mount my high lift inside between the roll bars to keep it out of the elements and so it isn't out in the open for someone to grab. It has a space for it though.
