Or-fab tire carrier fitment with LED taillights

Just as the title says, I have been reading good posts on the or-fab tire carrier and think that is the route I want to take.
My issue is that I have the truck-lite LED taillights. Will the tire carrier interfere with these or not work with these installed?

I have a tail picture posted in my profile for reference. (PS, I am aware I will have to move the CB antenna elsewhere)

Thank you for any details!

-K

My Savvy LED tail lights mount on my corner guards no problem.

Doesn't the right side mounting bracket cover the whole right side?

-Mine are flush with the body

I can't say what your LED lights require, I was only saying that the Savvy lights work fine with corner guards... in case you just can't get the tail lights you have now to work.

Was looking at the instruction manual, and looks like the hinge bracket covers the whole right side top to bottom and removing material from the bracket would compromise the strength. Looks like I will have to go another route.

Yes, it would be impossible or at least ill-advised to create an opening in the OR-F bracket for flush mount lights. A surface-mount tail light is the only recommended tail light with that style of tire carrier.

This shows the three tail light mounting bolt holes in my OR-F carrier, you can see that the whole plate is structural so it should not be cut.

Is the TNT customs one a good alternative? It seems to bracket around the light area and would allow for flush mounts

I'd rather have the added strength of the OR-F and just use surface mounted tail lights.
