I see that you have the "Fixed Long Mast Antenna SBAS ". I'm sorry to hear that. Jeeps that came with the Fixed Long Mast Antenna SBAS have notoriously been known to have the drivers seat prematurely wear holes in it, the radio preset buttons to error out, the clock jumps ahead 2 minutes a day, and the right front passenger side blinker blinks too fast. I would recommend replacing the Fixed Long Mast Antenna SBAS with a Julip Enhanced Electrical Pole (JEEP) as soon as possible to prevent these things from happening to your Jeep.

What's the deal with "8 additional gallons of gas"? I noticed my build sheet has it listed as 5 additional gallons. Anyone know if this is in addition to the 19 gallon tank....is a reserve type thing.....just seems odd to have it listed on the build sheet.

I'm guessing that's what they're supposed to give you with the vehicle when you buy it (I think it's up to the dealer if they want to fill your tank up for you or not).

I still laugh at the 19 gallon tank thing. It may have a 19 gal. capacity, but only fills to 15.

I thought mine was only 16 gal. till I went back and looked at my build sheet. Of course I've never ran dry so maybe there are a few gallons past empty.

Yeah mine could have the low fuel light come on, and then it only takes 15 gallons. So I wonder if the additional gallons are additional gallons past the low fuel light....maybe to give you more than you think you have on the trail?

My low fuel comes on between 14-15 gallons gone. When the needle hits E I can only get 16 galons in it.

Mine will fill to 18 1/2 when my light has been on for a few miles and if I fill it right when it comes on I still get like 18 gallons in it.

How long did a response from them take after requesting your build sheet.

I finally got my sheet...took about 2 business days. They sure do list differently. There are things on the list a couple of times, and things that aren't on my list that are on others, but that I have... What a trip! Thanks for the link.

It's litterally 5 gals of gas that the mfg charges you for. I confirmed with a MOPAR master tech yesterday. I have the same issue. Build sheet claims 19 gal tank but I can run it bone dry and still only get 15.5 gals in it.

Scooby, you have the 5 speed not the 6 speed, and a D44 in the rear with 3.73s. You got yourself a nice Jeep

I have as well. When I first bought mine from a guy down the road it was below E and I drove it around for a bit before I decided to go fill er' up. It seems like it would make sense to have the added capacity be after the needle hits E.

I think I am gonna try the Gerr Can trick.. Top off set Odometer to "0" and drive till it runs out and see what the trip odometer says. then use a gerry can to get me to the next fuel station.

Since we are posting build sheets here is mine...oh, and I bet someone cannot find the odd part of the build...my build sheet states who it was sold too...and of course, it is not built like this any more. Maybe I should edit this list with what has been replaced.

If you have the 19 gallon and get 15 in it when empty, some moron at the factory installed yoru fuel pump, measuring unit in the upper of two positions. it needs to be moved down. If you have the 15 gallon tank, you can cut the filler and vent tube to make it 19 gallon. I have been researching this hard for about a week now since my fuel pump all-in-one magic chrysler wallet breaker is going out.

That has to be the technical name for it.

Priceless.
