Outboarding LJ

Has anyone outboarded rear shocks on an lj? Or seen a write-up on it? I've seen write-ups on tjs but I think there might be a minor difference. I noticed the the rear trackbar mounts to the frame very close to where people put the shock mounts on tjs and was wondering if I need to go to a 4 link in back or just move the the shock mounts back further.

No, no need to go to a 4 link purely for outboarding. To answer the question, yes, I've outboarded many TJ and TJ Unlimiteds. There is no difference in the relationship between anything that matters between the two.

When I do them, I make a new trackbar mount that attaches back in the same spot, just on the inside of the new shock mount. I don't like leaving the stock one in place, so I remove it intact and then make a new one.
