Pros:
They won't be there to break if you smack a tree.
They will already be off when you order new ones.
Cons:
May not be legal in your state.
If you take your doors off, they are what stops the mud from coating you.
Doesn't look good without cutting the fender or replacing it with something like metal cloak, Genright, etc.
