Oversize tire carrier advice

Alright guys. I just bought a 1999 TJ. My first jeep ever. I've been smiling ever since and have yet to find a complaint. EXCEPT. My jeep has 35's on it, and the factory spare tire carrier obviously won't work. I've seen where some people have modified the factory carrier to work, but I'm not crazy about taking short cuts on my baby. That and I really don't want my tailgate to fall of going down the road. I already have an aftermarket rear bumper with the spot where the swing arm oversize tire carrier goes, it's just not on the bumper. My question is, is there anyway to buy just the swing arm, or do I have to buy a whole new bumper? Also any advice or knowledge about the TJ would be appreciated.

Most companies sell the bumper and carrier separate.

What bumper brand do you have?

Do you knw what bumper you have? Depending on who it is made by, it might not be easy to get the tire carrier seperate.

Check out the or-fab swing away tire carrier. That's what I have and I couldn't be happier with it.

I can not find the brand of the bumper anywhere on it. Would a pic of the bumper help?

Yes, and include a few pictures of where the swing arm is supposed to go.

It looks like either a Smittybilt or a Rugged Ridge type of design to me. The weird thing is that the tire carrier cylinder looks like it was overlapping something at one point.

Maybe it's a custom bumper with a couple salvaged parts to add a tire carrier?
