P0456 code

Hey everyone ! I have a question . About a month ago , I installed a new cold air intake and larger throttle body on my 2000 TJ . I also set the computer to run 91 octane fuel with a Superchips Flashpaq . Soon after installing these upgrades , I started getting a check engine light . I ran a diagnostic and the code " P0456 Evap leak monitor small leak detected " showed up . My question is... Did my upgrades cause this problem ? Thanks in advance for any help !

Not likely related. Most of the time it's the gas cap. Check the rubber seal in the cap, they crack & leak vapors & set the CEL. Caps are about $10 or after 2 caps leaking in 2 yrs I replaced the rubber gasket with an O ring from the hardware store for $.88. 2" OD O ring IIRC.

Hey all....

Am here fighting this code too... it's what's brought me here (and 80000 miles - 50000 of them mine). Am well beyond the cap, but only have replaced it once.. about to start there again.

In short, is there any info on the TJ EVAP system? I've now traced it to literally EVERY corner of my beast! Havn't dropped the tank, yet... but getting there too.

General info tho... I also found a loose hose end by the gas filler tube that has a cap on it. There's another tube that connects into filler tube, but this plastic one doesn't. The little rubber cap was extremely loose... replaced it.

Having a hellva'time finding these 90'corner vacuum hoses... who has them?
Thanks (I'll stop at that with this note!)
