Paint My Top White

Has anyone painted there top white? How'd it come out and what did you use?

You talking hard top? I would definitely recommend using a lt gry primer on it first. You thinking rattle can? Will take you several cans to get there for sure....and you'll need a pretty clean environment to spray in cuz white will show every piece of dust or lint that is in the air....

Iv seen some jeeps with white hard tops and they look great but iv never seen one for sale iv been curious about this too

I saw one for sale here in CA. While I look the look of the shiny JK matching color top, the TJ version was flat white and didn't look as nice. It had a lot of texture to it and maybe that was the difference.

That's what looks good the texture the new tips look like hummers to me

someone just posted up a white top pic recently... i cant remember where i saw it but i believe it was a red YJ. looked good

I've considered painting mine white, but if I did, I'd sand it down smooth and base/clear it to match the body.
