I think most of us have done it (not putting it down, it's an EXCELLENT mod) and they look fantastic! Nice job, especially one handed haha

Tinting your markers and tailights look sick too with some Nightshade, but be careful because you can get in trouble in some states

I wouldn't be surprised if New York is not one of the states where you get in trouble for having tinted markers and tail lights. After all, it's illegal in this state to have a CLEAR license plate cover!

I've also painted my headlight bezels, just a couple of weeks ago. I used Krylon primer and then Krylon flat black paint. (I had a few cans of the flat black left from when I camouflaged some equipment.) It came out nice. Of course, now that I have the black metal rock guards over them, you can't really see much of the bezels ... *lol*

I like 'em! Looks sharp man, good time killer and still being able to work on the Jeep!

I know for NY, the reason for no clear plate covers is that it reflects the flash from the overhead speeding cameras. They cannot send a ticket when the plate looks like a big white box in the photo from the reflection

quick question Sam. Do your hood mounted fog lights obstruct your vision, or are they on hinges so you can lay them down?? Just curious...

Looks like the one armed man did a great job! That is one of the best mods to do to a TJ, that and tinted markers/tails Welcome to the club...

I would have painted the bezels to match the Jeep for that Frenched in look like the hot rods from the '50's.

just did mine yesterday i love the look. Looks great on yours as well. Does anyone have the black light protectors over their headlights? Can't decide if they would look good or not.

I just did mine a couple weeks ago. The same time I put on my "wranglerforum.com" stickers. I guess I need to update my profile pics.

Hope your shoulder heals fast!!

Looks great! I just did this to mine today, along with the stainless euro guards. I also took off those stainless tail light guards, way too shiny!!

I figured since it was raining, it would make for a nice afternoon project. After 2 coats of primer and 6 coats of flat black, I thought it looked a little too flat, so I hit it with 2 light coats of black metallic. I stopped after 6 coats of clear, and now their set up to dry along with my tails (decided to lightly tint those while I was at it). Very stoked to see how they turn out in the morning!!

i just thought you should all know that im a retard lol, i tinted the front markers on my jeep, then i sprayed on the clear...... i bought glazed clear DOH!, but i let it dry up and it give it that kind of flat black feel, i kinda like it so i threw on two more coats and threw it back in the jeep, i'll post pics in a few let me know how bad i messed it up lol, keep in mind it was all done one handed again ahah

Are you giving me permission to be cruel? if so I'm there. even if I like it I'll let you know how awful it is.

I bet it looks at least 1/2 decent.
