Did you have to do any sanding or anything?

That's what I used on mine - love it and its durable to boot. The best thing is, if you do scratch it or whatever, you can simply touch it up

Looks good bro.

I sanded one but that ended up looking the worst out of them all. I just cleaned them with alcohol and sprayed two-three coats. I'll add some more pics in a bit

are you just taping them off and spraying, or removing the flares to do it?

I removed them and sprayed them. The front was the easiest. The back was kinda hard bc some of the bolts have nuts(if that's what they're called) that will rotate when you unscrew the bolt. I had to pull the flares tight(away from the frame) so I could unscrew. I'll post pics in a min. Great little project but I accidentally sprayed the driveway and have been cleaning it up all day! Great way to spend a Saturday

Just think of plasti-dip as being easy to take off bc my roommate did his rims in plasti-dip and it looks good but comes off if you hit it hard enough. That's why I did mine in bedliner.

I just plasti dip'd my grill on my TJ. Turned out excellent. I plan on doing my rims at some point, but was curious as to the flares.

Anyone know if these can be taken off and left off so I don't have to put them back on? Are they necessary is the question? They are the plastic parts, don't know the name(wheel wells?), in the back tire area.

You can take them off, but they protect the undercarage
