Painted Roll Bars?

Hey has anyone seen or have any pics of painted roll bars?
Specifically a color other than black?

I know people have painted their roll bars black when/after Rhino, raptor herculining their rig but I mean a different color.

I'm thinking that when I get my TJ ( trying my hardest to make it black )
That I would paint the rollbar red. I think this would look badass and I'm surprised I haven't seen it before.

Any pics of rollbars painted a different color than the Jeep for cosmetic effect?

My idea is to do a blackout- but with Red accents.
Red shocks, springs, black seats with red accents, and possibly the bare rollbar painted red.

Like so...

Gotta love those JP Jeeps

At first glance it looks like too much red. But the windshield is red also. My idea would be to paint only the roll bars, not the windshield.

I think surrounded by mostly all black it would look sick

Sometimes, the roll bars are partially painted body color,(Like mine) but because of the sound bar I left my padding on to cover up the wires that run down the roll bar.

I think it would look good even if it were just the back part of the roll bar.
I just can't seem to find many people going this route at all... sort of surprised.

I can't be that innovative lol I know someone has done it.

Seems though most people only do it to rehab the roll bar or just hit it with herculiner while they're doing their tub.

EDIT: Anyone reading this good at photoshop? lol

Mine were already painted silver (body color). I removed my pads, sold them, then moved the wiring to the other side of the cage (the interior side) so it couldn't be seen from outside the Jeep. I'm happy with it. I'm going to try to get some cage work done sometime this winter, so I didn't want my stock pads.

I agree with you, if you do get a black Jeep red roll bars would be very cool. Some other accents also have to be that same shad red.

^^^ Right. I would have to almost get the accents first and then choose a paint accordingly.

They have that option at some paint stores to bring in an item and they'll match the paint. Problem is having the paint come out similar on different materials and whatnot.

I think that looks badass. I'm not sold on the bumper being red... but tiny accents throughout would compliment it. rollbar handles maybe some black and red seats etc.

I am just having one hell of a time finding examples of it! I would think a lot more people would do it

Well my Jeep is Red with black accents. I forsure would not paint any bumper red thogh. you could do like red headlight bezels or red pinstripe on black rims, Red suspension coils or even paint part of the dash red, ive seen it done on other threads. There are alot of diffferent possibilitys but im sure its going to be very cool over time.
