Painting an airbag control module

Is this taboo for some reason?

Nope. Several people have done it. I used krylon fusion and painted my grey dash black. It does stay sticky for a while until it really dries.

I painted it black when I painted my center console black & Raptor'd my tub. With all that black in there, the silver metal stuck out like a sore thumb. I was just wondering if I'd screwed up somehow since I couldn't find other references to people doing it.

As long as you left the wire connections alone you are fine.
