Painting jeep pedal covers?

I'm thinking about mentioning these as a potential christmas gift since it would be easy for someone else to get and they're not crazy expensive, and when I was driving home thinking about them, I wondered, "what if the white lines were yellow?" And thus sparked an intense focusing session (jk I can't focus at all) of trying to figure out the best way to paint them and make the paint last with all the rubbing of my feet on them. So my question is, what would be the best type of/way to paint them yellow so they would last? These are the pedal covers (69.99 new) and this is the beast, all 4 cylinders of ferociousness.

Are they aluminum? If so I'd take them to a shop and have them powder coated. I think that is going to be your most durable route.

Yes, they are billet aluminum. Here's the link: http://www.quadratec.com/products/55003_2005.htm
How much would that cost, and what kind of place would do it?

That looks sick. And I like the yellow panel there, that's one of the things I plan on doing down the road.
I ordered amber LED's to replace the factory green gauges and HVAC controls, and they just came in today. Pretty soon she'll be yellow'ed out.

I only put about 1500 miles on mine a year, just some weekends and trail rides.

Bedlining crossed my mind, and it would likely be really durable. The only problem I see would be finding the same color as my exterior. I haven't messed with paint and such since the last time I had to spray paint a piano bench black when I was 14.

Will do. I'll post em here and on this thread where I got all the info:

I'm excited. It'll hopefully be this weekend when I put em in but you never know.

I did once upon a time. Until I took them out and set them on the porch to dry after a sudden storm and the dogs got ahold of em.
