Picking up an axle tomorrow

I'll be hitting the road in the morning to pick up an 8.8 from a 96 explorer. I probably wont get around to working on it for a few weeks but it was a good deal so I didnt want to pass it up.
It has 4.10 gears so I will also be looking for a dana 30 with 4.10s because they only go for about $250 on craigslist and it will be cheaper than re gearing my current dana 30. Eventually I will be going to 4.88s when I get my 35s but the 4.10s should hold me over with my 33s. anything is better then the 3.07s I have now.
I will be getting my brackets from these guys River Raider Off Road
They are right up the road from me and another friend of mine is also buying a set from him so were hoping to get a little price break.

I don't think any of them came with 4.10s though(hopefully I'm wrong). It will definitely be considered when I re-gear though.

they have a good number of 4 bangers that came with 4:10s just might need to hunt a little more for one

Awesome, Thats what I will do then. I dont know much about the hp swap though. Do you know of any links that show what year xj to pull from and how to tell the difference between the vac. disconnect and non.
I assume the axles and brakes are the same?

brakes are all the same just avoid pre 91 models then no worries on the CAD system and hunt for one with a 4 banger under the hood
