Does anyone have pics or know where I can find pics of a TJ that is running the 3.5" Rubicon Express lift and 33" tires?

Don't know about pics, but that's a great lift! I'd go 4.5 though... my .02

um, no. The 3.5 is more than plenty to run 33's

I love mine too - have yet to take it out on a trail though. Although I have the 4.5" SuperFlex kit with 3.5" springs. Plenty of room for 33's. Hell, with a 1" body lift, you can run 35's easy.

I didn't say you need the 4.5 to run 33s, I just like the 4.5 better.

Rawkon.. do you have a full size spare? If so, how did you mount it? What kind of wheels are those? How much backspacing? Did you soup up the engine at all to compensate for the tire size? NICE JEEP by the way.

The only way to compensate for the larger tires is to get the axles re-geared.

3.73 gears, trueflow filter and a flexalite efan. I run up to big bear which is a 1 hour up the mountain 8k' climb. it does just fine. I have a full size spare and its mounted via LOD extreme bumper.

i dont bother using 4high on any steep uphill. I definatly have lag on the hills but with my 3seed auto and 3.73s its ok. (its a jeep not a race car)

my wheels are from crager i think (got them used for 80bucks) and i believe its a 3.75back spaceing

I have zero complaints.

the LOD bummper is MUCH cheaper then ou think check them out and they are nce and Heavy duty
