Pics of oil pressure sending unit location?

Apparently I need a new one, it's been ordered. I have the crazy notion that maybe I can replace it myself.... I know, right? Anyway, before I go and totally hose up my baby, does anyone have a pic of it's location and exactly what I have to do to change it? I looked at Stu's site and didn't see a listing for a write up on it..

Thanks

Should be screwed into the block near the oil filter. Real easy to change, just unplug then unscrew, install new one and plug back in.

I thought I had a pic but cannot find it, I will take one in the morning

Never changed one on my jeep yet. But on everyother vehicle it was near the oil pump. You just unplug the wire then unscrew the oil sending unit. Put new one in and put wire back on. I'll get picture of it in the morning for you.

Unplugging the wire is a little tricky so just don't force it and break the tab that locks it on.

One tab slides to the side to unlock it and then you push down on another tab to release the plug. I know because it took over two hours to do with help from the forum. I had to remove the oil filter because I used a open end wrench. I replaced the oil filter because the seal didnt look like it would reseal and I didnt want the headache of oil leaking.

To Redneck O7:
Hey thanks so much for the pics. It's exactly what I needed and I am gonna do this one myself. Hopefully I won't have the headache of any leak & can tighten it enough. Thanks for the help. Ginger

No problem. I had to in my one of my cars awhile ago and it stopped leaking after I replaced it and if I'm correct you don't wanna put it on super tight or you'll break it off

Yes, it has some good info... I still haven't changed the silly thing. It got way cold, and I am very chicken...
