pics of track bar

anyone have sny pics of an adjustable front track bar installed? it wont line up correctly when installing it the way i was told to do it. does the adjustable end mount to the frame or axle side?

It mounts to the frame side. You should see a considerable differance from one end to the other. Your axle end normally are poly bushings with aftermarket trac bar.

see on the side that mounts to the frame... did you put a washer between the track bar and the frame? mine doesnt line up perfectly

The JKS bar uses a Johnny Joint, a little different design than most. The hole in the frame has a 3 degree taper at the bottom half. JKS included a tapered bushing and was very strict about the installation of this bushing in order to get proper contact with the bore. No, to answer your question, I do not have a washer between the track bar and the frame.

I do believe if it is the Rough Country bar you have to use their drop bracket. Their customer is lacking at best sometimes. Hope this helps.

make sure to pull the springs, push the axle up to full compression and determine how much bumpstop extension you need. drop brackets have been known to hit the tie-rod, even at 5" of lift. drop track bar brackets also require the use of a drop pitman arm.
