Lol yeah that usually works
I have like 15 things saved to my phone that I either want to buy or make for my jeep
It all adds up to around 2 grand if I purchase it all lol

and also peel the tape off before you last coat dry's completely. if it gets stuck to the take use a razorblade and cut along it gently and it wont peel. and dont set parts on newspaper its hell to get it off.

Jeep lover is right. Do not wipe it with anything for a few days. It is dry to touch in about 4 hours, but dont wipe it. He is right, dont leave the tape on, as soon as your done with your last coat, remove the blue tape. I left mine on and it pulled the dip off a bit.

I used Rustoleum Wax, Tar & Adhesion remover. 3M also makes it.

I went to paint my mirrors today with Plasti Dip. I had a little left in the can, and wouldn't you know it, the cap was clogged. I threw it away and washed my Jeep instead. Lol.

I used plasti dip on my grill and mirrors of my WJ. It got a chip in the grill and there is no way to repair the plasti dip other than removing it & doing it over. I took it off the grill and left it chrome again. It took some rubbing and peeling but grill is back to previous state. The mirrors still look good though. I haven't used any on my TJ but I plan on using the rustoleum bedliner on my mirrors......
