Plasti-dip rims

Anyone done this? I've done one wheel tonight and I had to put 5 coats on and it still looks pretty textured. The wheel was cleaned well before it was applied and I'm still seeing quite a bit of texture from the plastidip or is that normal, I can put pictures if necessary

Have you tried to put the glossafier on? I just did my wheels Monday nite. I think they turned out pretty good.

I'd rather not a glossy look I like the matte look

I'm no expert with it but I would say it's got a pretty textured finish. I guess the good thing about it is if you don't like it, it will peel off easy since you put on 5 coats.

It's going to be textured. Not smooth.
