I think I'm going to stick with the rear corners on (looks weird without) and front corners off without the plugs. Kinda like the look. Maybe if it stops growing on me I will get the plugs, but for the time being, I rather like it without.

I'll post new pictures once my rocker guards are on.

Those are my thoughts + I can actually where the rear would have some use whereas the front seem pointless

(step 1)TAKE em off, take out the little keepers that hold the bolts and throw the jugs in the trash can! (step 2) Go to the Jeep dealer, order those little flat black plastic ends that are in post #32 (step 3) install them using the bolt keepers that were on the jugs you removed (step4 ) Enjoy the better looking bumper system.
Oh and if the plastic end covers make the bumper lok like crap cause the paint is old and faded I recommend Krylon Satin Black spray paint to make the bumpers look like new if your like me and spend the extra money and get th Krylon Fusion for plastic you can mask off the fender flares and paint those too.e

I took my fronts off and kept the back on for the same reasons as many have. If you don't have a dealer near by, I got my plugs for the front on EBay for not much $.

All that crap collects in there anyway, but at least with the caps you don't have to see it. And they make it look "finished".

The 2006 TJ "X" came without the "jugs". They had the flat end caps instead. When I ordered my flat end caps from the Dealer in 2006, they were like two or three dollars each then, not much. They weren't listed for my 2003, had to order using the 2006 part number instead.

My flat caps from the dealer are made for the bumper rail on the 03's In fact my bumper wasn't listed for a 01, they had to lok it up under the 03 listing, a lot of Jeep parts are interchangeable anyway with some minor work

Parts numbers (March 2006) for my end caps were:
55078139AA and 55078138AA

List Price for each end cap: $3.55
4 X $3.55 = $14.20 plus tax.

Trade Price for each end cap: $2.85
4 X $2.85 + $11.40 plus tax.

You realize the rear bumper is C-channel and dirt, mud, etc is gonna collect in there regardless, right? lol ...only difference is with the caps on, you won't have to see it all.
