Popping out of 4wd low

Last weekend I was on a run between Reno and Virginia City and the transfer case kept popping out of 4wd low? 1" body lift. Do I need the teraflex transfer case linkage bracket? This bracket takes the linkage off the body, keeping it from being tweaked from the body lift?

When I was installing my body lift, the directions said to bend the linkage to make it work. That just sounded shady to me. So if you want to do it right, buy the NOVAK cable shifter. Ive read that Advanced adapters also make one. But the NOVAK keeps the stock shifter lever while the AA has a replacement lever.

I was looking at the Teraflex one, about 1/2 the price and looks sturdy. The Novak one looks HD.

mine completely popped off the lever last saturday which left me in neutral and I had to get towed to the nearest road where I figured out what had happened. Had to manually pop it back in 2wd. I need to get one of these also

I went to Hollister hills off road park, black diamonds trails and never popped out once. I recommend it.

A 4" lift on mine left it popping out of 4-lo. Instead of buying an adapter to fix it, I drilled new holes and mounted it about 1" lower. Works like new and was FREE!!!!
