hey, when i take a sharp right turn, something pops from under the car. I dont know where, but its loud and i can feel it. When im done with the turn and my car begins to straighten out it pops again like its popping back into place. Its only when i turn right. If anyone can help out that would be awesome.
something is loose, like a rod end or something. Crawl under the front and grab parts and wiggle it to see whats loose. Have some one turn the wheel to see if you can see something moving like it shouldn't be.
If it's comming from the front, check the torque on your trackbar. Mine started doing something like this and it turned out to be the trackbar. If it's comming from the back, it might be the shocks slipping around on the pins. This can be corrected by using bar pin eliminators from JKS. Is the noise the only symptom?
It is your track bar most likely. I am assuming you used a track bar relocation bracket. My relocation bracket would sligtly give every 3 hundred miles and cause the bolts to loosen slightly. I fixed this by making a steel sleave/spacer to add support where the old track bar used to be mounted. first get a piece of steel pipe slightly bigger than the diamator(not a spelling genius) of the bolt that is where the original track bar was mounted(there is a gap there now with a bolt just running through it and the flag nut on the other side ,nothing to stop the track bar relocation bracket from giving if you hit a decent bump, rock or curb). Cut the pipe to fit tightly wedged in this gap and then run your bolt though the sleave/spacer and tighten all bolts holding the bracket down. This will ad extra support to the bracket and should help it from giving as much. I don't know why manufactors don't put something like this in their kits only cost a buck or 2 to make solves a definate weak spot on most after market kits. I made mine from a piece of a old junk chair in my basement
I was going to try the 2 bolt thing, but the problem was the relocation bracket being to thin and nothing behind it basically except for a gap with your bolt running through. So if you hit a decent bump, rock or curb the relocation bracket would bend inward slightly and loosen up since it wasn't the same length at this gap as before.
