Possible?

Alright I'm new to jeeps and have had an idea, I don't know much so this might be a stupid but here it is

I know on Hummers they have the CTIS or central tire inflation system which allows them to air down their tires while on the move. I know how much of an advantage airing down your tires is and am wondering if it would be possible to fit this kind of a system into a jeep?

Thanks for putting up with this question but just wondering.

It sure is possible.

Costs will be extreme and probably very difficult to route everything for it to not get hung up on the trail.

Myself and everyone I wheel with air down when get to the trail and air back up on the way out. A small compressor or onboard air system is what's used.

Never seen the system you described on a Jeep, but I'm sure it's been done before.

good idea. I know the fire trucks at Philly international have them for when they have to cross in the grass. goes from full inflate down to 5psi and back up all on the move. Really neat to see it happen. Would be cool on the jeep, but I cant see adding any kind of electronics except lights. I like to play in the water.

it would be so much easier and so much more functional to just add an onboard air kit. One with enough power to inflate tires and run some air tools.
That would be more practical, easier install and cheaper.

It is a cool idea though, just not worth it in my eyes.
