What rear axle do you have?
The 3 inch body lift is a huge turn off...

I know the body inch killed me. Would much rather have a 4 or 6 inch suspension but money doesn't grow on trees

These kind of threads crack me up !!

In other words, if I can get an exorbitant amount for my TJ, it is for sale, if I can only get what it is worth, I owe 20% more than that, or I've put all these aftermarket parts on it (including a 3" body lift, really ?), so I might as well keep it........Take the emotion out of it and sell it if you want to.....

Just a caveat, Manheim is showing between $4,400 and $6,000 at the auction. No bank will finance it being 13 years old, only credit unions may consider it, so your prospective audience is cut to tier 1 credit and cash buyers......the law of diminishing return strikes again!!

Good Luck, should you choose to really sell it........ It is a very good looking TJ. Prob in the $8k range retail.

Oh, and I am not being a smartass, I am being a realist, after all, you asked .......

Food for thought: buddy just bought an 03 rubicon ( Dana 44 front and rear locked) with currie springs, all adjustable control arms, and Antirock, stubby bumper, swing away tire carrier, and many more things I don't feel like listing for $9000.

No emotion involved, not sure if it will be for sale yet, waiting to see if the acquisition of a 2007 four door will come true or not. Just trying to figure out how much money I will have to work with to pay for the new jeep if I decided to sell my TJ/ get the JK

I did that, kept the JK for 6 months, then went on a nationwide search to get back in the TJ Rubicon. I personally did not like the JK at all. It was an '07 and way under powered.

here was my JK

Here is my NTM TJ Rubi:

I'm over the off road stage after wearing it out with my TJ. I'm looking forward to the advantages of four doors and a nicer interior even though it will be less "jeepy". When I get the four door I will be putting my 35 inch km2's and the necessary lift to fit it ASAP

My thoughts exactly, as well as the YJ's (and CJ's?)

Correct. JK/U was the first Jeep that was offered in 2x4. I'm not 100% on CJ bc not familiar with them but pretty sure JK/U is only possible factory 2x4 jeep.
