Powdercoat or paint rear bumper

I have the Rokmen rear bumper. It is designed to be installed directly to the rear cross member, rear body mount and gas tank skid.

I recently covered with primer and then Duplicolor can bedliner. It looks great, until I was loading it in the back of my Jeep and it nipped the front seat mount and now the corner is chipped. I'm not happy with the results now and with the way it is installed I want the most durable finish so I won't have to remove the bumper as it requires the gas tank to be removed.

I am debating on getting it powdercoated flat black texture at a local shop. I'll be getting a small tow hitch to have below the bumper so this can help with reducing chipping from rocks. (I was rear ended a few months ago and my prev tow was broken)

Would this be a good recommendation?

Thanks
