power steering leakage !

I've recently discovered something leaking on my driveway. I noticed that my power steering box was completly covered in fluid. Im not too sure if its my hose, gear box, or some type of seal? I got a couple pictures, but there not too good. anyone got any ideas please, and thanks.

You need to replace the gearbox, very common problem. Not worth it to replace seals you can get a re-man for pretty cheap.

I replaced my seals about a year ago for $18 for the seals
It was a huge pain in the @$$ getting the pitman arm off
A year later the seals are leaking again

Some people replace the whole gearbox and purchase a new pitman arm so they don't have to fight the old one, pitman arms are cheap

If you plan on larger than 33" tires look into the 98-99 dodge Durango 4wd v8 non snowplow steering box,it's got tougher internals and is a direct bolt on swap but it cost a lil more than the stock jeep gearbox

I'll replace mine with a stock box soon

Yep then do the Durango box. I did just because of the same problem even though I only have 31s. I didn't feel much if a difference but you sure will with the 35s.

Would the Durango gear box work on a 2000? How hard is it to install a new seal kit in a gear box?
