Pressure plate question

In the morning when I first start the Jeep (usually mornings with heavy condensation) and let up on the clutch my Jeep shutters/shakes really bad. Once I am moving it is fine and in the afternoon it seems to be fine.

A friend told me to tighten my Pressure Plate (I have a 99, 4.0 manual) although he was not sure if you are able to manually do this on a Jeep.

My question, is it possible to do this? If so how do I go about tightening it?

There is nothing to adjust. If someone has already replaced the clutch, it's possible they turned the flywheel which where the TJ is concerned, shouldn't have been done. Turning/machining the flywheel during a clutch job, which removes its special slight dome shape, can cause the clutch to engage/disengage erratically.
