Pricing question

Hey everyone,

I am looking to pick up a wrangler, and found one at a local dealership that is real nice, but I dont know much about the pricing on these. Here are the specs:

2006 Wrangler Orange color
6 cylinder 6 spd
33000 miles
Will come with 8 yr 80k waranty (certified)

They are asking 14.9k with the waranty.

Is this a good price, I dont want to overpay. I am good at talking people down, can I get them to come down any?

Thanks!

What trim level is it? Where are you located? Wranglers can varry in price greatly by the trim and area.

kbb.com says that an '06 manual trans with 33000miles should be around 15k, here in ct

It's either a regular Wrangler, or a Sport, X, Rubicon, Sahara.

Because gainman said it was a Sport 4x4.

gainman: I'd say that is a fairly decent price, but I'd talk them down a bit more. $13k or less would be a better deal, especially since it's not a gas sipping import.

just remember about adding taxes and all the fees you do not want to owe 16k on something you could only sell for 12k

You can also check Nada.com They seem to give you a more realistic price without all the options. All the banks out here use that for loans, they won't even consider a price from KBB or edmunds.
