Pro Comp Wheels

Anyone out there have pro comp wheels or know anything about them? I'm interested in getting some for my TJ, they are alloy and fit my budget. If anyone has a silver TJ with these or similar wheels, pictures would be nice to see how they would look on my TJ. Thanks in Advance!!

Here's a Google Image sampler (you'll have to use your imagination regarding the silver paint scheme):

Yea the beach/sand is what worries me. Although alloys aren't supposed to rust.

DAAMMMNNN!!! Those look good!!! What size are the wheels & tires? I haven't gotten into major rock crawling but I read that alloys hold up better than steel. My TJ is a soft top w/half doors.

If the wheels do not have a clear coat finish you need to keep them cleaned and waxed. I used a good metal polish and then sealer. They will stay for a while unless you wash excessively or really dig into the mud a lot.

what kind of tires do you have on yours justjeepers? Are those the Duratracs? I think pro comps and the M/t's should be close to the same price. $104 or so a piece

The pro comps look the same as the MTs. I bought a set of new black pro comps and picked up a used set of polished MTs and they look very very close. I bought the pro comps because they where running a rebate last month.

I run Pro Comp wheels, 15 x 8 and 33's. I wheel it in some rough terrain and they are a bit scratched up on the edges but they are great wheels. You can see them in profile pictures if you want along with the other information. I polish them maybe once a year with Bushes and they keep a pretty good shine. Keep in mind I do not live where there is salt and crap all over the place during winters.

31's x 10.50 on 15's with the stock rims & BF Goodrich AT's from PO. How do you know if they are 15 x 8 or 15 x 7?

Here's a pic without the fender flares. I'm waiting for them to dry, I sprayed them with Duplicolor Bed Liner Armor. Searched the forum and it got mixed reviews.....so I thought I'd give a whirl. Just got wait and see how it turns out!!

They look nice!! Do you think 33's would fit with a 1.5 inch lift or do I need to go up more?

1.5 inch lift will not be a good choice if you plan on hitting any bumps or do any off road driving.

I do want to do some off roading but nothing too extreme. It's also my daily driver so I don't want to do any damage to it.

If you mainly drive on road with some trail riding your best most economical thing to do would be put in a 2 inch budget boost and a 1.25 inch body lift. It will drive fine on the road but is not the best set up for any serious off roading or flexing. I would also recommend a motor mount lift at the same time you do a body lift. You really need 4 inches to run 33 inch tires properly.
