Problem with A/C vents

I, too, have an A/C question. Has anyone had a problem with the A/C where the cold air blows from the top vent on the dash but not through any of the front vents? I can't figure out what the heck is going on with my A/C vents and why they aren't blowing out cold air when the A/C is on. I've checked to see if they are obstructed in any way and I can't tell that they are. If you have any suggestions, please post them up. Thanks!

Under the hood, if you are facing the jeep on the right side is a "vacum" hose and fitting under the manifold, just below and further toward the firewall then where the tube from the air filter enter the engine, look, and see if this hose is loose, that will affect the celenoid that manipulates the diaphram that routes the air through the selected vents. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I will try and post up some pics. Hope this helps solve your problem.

Thanks a ton for the tip. If you have some pics you can post, that would help. Thanks again!

Heres a pic, sorry, I could only take one before my camera battery died.
Its the black hose pretty much in the center of the pic that comes down and connects to the engine via a L shape peice. All this is found on the right (if you are facing the jeep) hand side of the engine. If this hose is loose at all it will cause the problem you are having, you can't tell from the pic but mine is secured with a zip tie, just make sure you cut the excess so it doesn't rub against the engine and melt.

Sweet! I found the hose and sure enough, it was disconnected. I put it back in place, zip-tied her in, and she works perfectly now.

Thanks a ton for the help and pic. I really appreciate!

No problem, glad I could help you get it worked out, mine did this last week and it took about an hour of trouble shooting to figure it out, around here not having the air conditioning working correctly is miserable.
