Since it's my vehicle I tell them please don't slam the door. They don't like it, they don't get in again.

at work my partner has a habit of slamming every vehicle door he comes near, we work with trucks all day. Sometimes he slams them to the point where it kinda hurts your head for a second.
I once told him Im gonna slam your head in the door like that next time you do it. He's calmed down a little since then. lol.

I have owned a lot of old vehicles as have most of my family. One thing you learn really quick is slamming the door is not the wisest thing to do. Common flaw with old vehicles is that window channels are badly worn or non existent. Slamming the door in this situation=broken window.

Drives me nuts when people just let my doors sling open and stretch out my straps. I chewed out someone today for doing that. Just because they can doesn't mean they should.

The thing with the strap... I was thinking about getting like a rubber strap thing that stretches a little bit and when they open it and it slings back... The door slams their head when they jump up and get in. lol. But then they will probably get more pissed off. lol
