Puddle Driver Side Floor

Ok i sure this has come up but i cant seem to find any answer to my problem that work. I have a 2000 wranger soft top and any time we get any good rain or snow i seam to be stepping into water on the floor board of just the driver side. I took the the front peace of the hood just under the windshield off to make sure the drain was not clogged. Even poured water down drain and it works right. I don't think that its the air intake because it not leaking on the passenger side. I also don't thing it coolant leaking either because water does not smell like coolant. I really don't think its the soft top because there no indication of water running from top all the way down to the floor. The only thing i can think of is the windshield. But i really don't know what it could be? I was wondering if someone may have some cure to this problem. The only think i can do is remove my plugs and let the water drain.

Mine leaks when it's on flat ground or facing up hill. I try to park facing down hill in my driveway and no water ever. It's the cowl drain not being able to drain fast enough. Have not tried anything yet and I owned mine sine new in 2004.

Yep, remove the plugs. I'm not sure where it could be coming from either. I would probably leave the plugs out though till you can find where its coming from.

If it the cowl drain where does the water come from.? That one of the frustrating parts, that the water is just coming from no where.

Have you replaced your windshield recently? I had replaced mine and when it was installed they did not get solid bead of glue going around the window therefore when it rained it would flood my passenger side floor board. Took me along time to figure out where all the water was coming from!

My 2010 JK does the same thing on the passenger side, What I discovered was water scoops around the door and comes in where the rubber meets at the bottom. I pulled the plug and park slightly uphile and the water drains out.
It a Jeep thing
