The biggest effort saver I'll offer is to attach the header to the windshield before attaching the soft top's rear corner pieces to the tub. Many try to attach the rear corners first which means you won't be able to get the header close enough to the windshield to latch it. The rear corners stretch so you can push them downward into place pretty easily with the front header latched. Position the top's edges around the door jambs just before you pull the clamps down into their clamped position.

I leave the back window rolled up when the top is down, makes it easier. X2 on the locking the front down first.

I agree except I just hook the front latches I don't close them down. It give a little more room to work with on hooking the back sail flaps. I almost ripped the bottom out of one of the sail panels on my old top. The stitching started to come loose from pulling on it. Just something I do when I attach it.

I use my body weight to pull the rear corners down. Just grab either side of the corners (^^^ After latching header panel) and lean back a little. It's no problem at all. Then I zip the windows in, and then tuck in the front and bottoms. For that front edge, I always start with the top too, not the middle.
