quadratec backorder

I ordered a new set of shocks and a steering stabilizer from quadratec the other day, and today it told me two of the shocks were on backorder.
Has anybody ever dealt with this before? Just curious how long something like this usually takes for the manufacturer to get quadratec the product. Matter of days or weeks ?

Idk about quadratec but I would trust 4wd.com better.. Good on prices too.

Talking backordered shocks

When I ordered new Bilsteins this past fall for my '02 TJ, it took them almost 10 weeks to get the rear shocks to me. I was upset, and threatened to cancel, but I already had the front shocks and decided to just wait. There are other suppliers out there if your patience runs short.

Quadratec like any other supplier is only a middle man. Back ordered is backordered and not their fault.

I hope they dont leave me hanging forever. Maybe next time instead of placeing my order online I should call and make sure my items are in stock. Had I known that I would have to wait I would have shopped around to see if other places had them all in stock.

I just emailed quadratec trying to get some answers. They are shipping me the front shocks and stabilizer. The rears are what is on back order, and of course the rears are what I am in desperate need of

So go figure the most important thing i need out of my order is the thing that is backordered. If I have to wait more than a week or two I will cancel the order and go elsewhere. This sucks

If you contact Quadratec they will be able to give you an estimate. They did this for me, but low and behold this was also innaccurate as when it didnt come within the time frame I called again and they failed to notify me that the shipment wouldnt be in for another 2 weeks. I had only gotten 1 of the 4 rims.

I would try and order from a store that actually has stock of items, not waiting on the MFG to build them and then ship them to you. You never know how long it will take to fill a back order.

Its worse when businesses drop ship. Once they have ur' money it's a bugger to get the goods if they are being drop shipped from an outside seller . it's most annoying when you aren't contacted about a delay, blah blah, I get pissy when I hear of bad business practice

I just got a call from Rompalicious.com where I ordered my OME lift. They said that the shocks where on backorder too. I guess shocks are in high demand right now?

i will never order from quadratec again! I ordered 5 craigar rims online. they are pictured with center caps and no where along the oredering process does it say there not included. also in the catalog, no where does it say there not included.... however online if you click the product and go through the steps there is small blue text that says something along the lines of "more info" or "details" and if you click that, it tells you... but i already knew the size i needed and all that. so i clicked add to cart, and then check out. then it asked for the size, i put it in, paid. and ta da... no center caps....

long story short, i went round and round with customer serv. and ended up paying for them... there excuse, you should have looked.....

i didnt want the caps for free, i wanted them to say sorry sir, well check into that and fix the issuee so that its more up front... or something. and maybe free shipping....

I orderd a 4wd brand lift from 4wd.com, a sales man called and told me the shocks were on backorder and something else in the kit was discontinued. He hooked me up with a skyjacker kit that retailed for more, for match price and free shipping!!!

PLEASE! That's just f**'d up Crager. I went through the same shit with my local tire company. Waited a week or two for the wheels and rubber and come the day of install....No caps. Had to come back again after I paid the upcharge and then they broke two studs and had to replace two more because the pimple face who did the first install cross threaded them.
