Quadratec iVault Stereo Mount

Has anyone used the Quadratec iVault Stereo Mount? If so is it worth the $60 or not? I know when I replace my head unit I will have to buy a kit to fit the head unit into the larger jeep opening and that will cost $25-30 so I guess this would really only be an extra $30 or so.

Quadratec Exclusive 13104.51 - Quadratec® iVault® Stereo Mount for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Any input would be appreciated!

That would take nothing more than a big flat-bladed screwdriver to pop open, I wouldn't waste my $$$ on it. Better to take the face plate with you or lock it up in a Tuffy security enclosure.

I got one for Christmas but haven't installed it yet because the weather wasn't good enough to remove the doors. Will be installing it this week as I removed the doors yesterday. It is more of a determent than a real security thing. Also when checking it out while not installed it seems like it will be a hassle to remove and replace the cover. Didn't seem to line up all that great.
