Hi there,

I have a 2002 TJ and i was was looking at getting this bumper on eBay.

Jeep Wrangler TJ YJ Front Bumper 87 06 Rock Crawler Black Built in LED Light | eBay

Does anybody have any feedback or experience with this bumper? Are the integrated LED Lights even worth it?

I also didn't know what type of connector connects to the bumpers, Im not too knowledgeable when it comes to wiring, but do you think it connects to the 3-pin side marker lights harness?

Thank you guys so much! I appreciate all the help :)

I have this bumper, I like it a lot. But....

Do you have flat fenders ? If you dont you will have to trim some off the stock fenders.
These bumpers are made for JKs, they only fit TJs with some fender trimming.

The LEDs are wired into the side markers/running lights. Very easy to do

Give me a few hours and I will try and snap some pics for you.

Hey Brit,

Thanks for the reply

Quick question, how do the led lights look? Are they bright or were you disappointed?

Also, would this bumper be something I can install and wire at home or would I require heavy tools?

Lastly, is the wiring for the lights the same 3 pin connector? Would you be able to post a pic of the wiring?

Nice jeep by the way

Thanks for the compliments :)

The LEDs are hella bright. I like them a lot.

I did all the work at home myself, I am by no means a skilled mechanic, I just took my time.
I dont remember any 3-pin connector, I just spliced into the running light wires.

I will try and take a pic later tonight when I get home with the LEDs on.

I bought an after market bumper (Smittybilt) and didn't realize it was going to block my front turn signals. At night doesn't seem to matter that much because the front turn signal is easier to see in the dark, but during the day on-coming traffic cannot see my flashing turn signal. One of the bars of the bumper passes directly in front of it. I guess I will have to buy some after market turn signals and mount them out onto my new bumper. It's best to see the bumper your interested in actually install on someone else Jeep before you buy one.

My buddy has this bumper and didn't have to trim any of his fenders. He likes it a lot. Wired up the leds to his side markers and they're decently bright. Seems pretty well build also. I have an e-autogrilles bumper also and I like it. Mine looks like the smittybilt xrc bumper.
