Question: Model of Wrangler?

Well here goes. My first question! Can anyone look at this and tell me if this is possibly a Willys Edition. I just purchased it on Saturday. It has everything the Willy Edition base model is supposed to have including the factory camo seats and green diamond plating on the sill, fold down windshield. It is an automatic 6cyc. It has had lots of mods to it of course. I talked to someone who knows VIN numbers and he says it shows to be a Willys according to the VIN. I looked at VIN from a Willys and it is only one number off in the middle and the last four are differnet of course. The rest is the same. Even the date of manufacture was only 6 days before the VIN I compared it too. It is obvious I dont know much about jeeps..(yet!) I am working on it
Thanks in advance.

And it probably is. I have searched and googled the web for a while and the only TJ's that came from the factory stock with a Camo interior and diamond plate sills that I could find was the Willys. I was just wondering. Dont really make much difference to me. I love it just the way it is...for now! Of course I have a few things to add like a winch and improve the stock headlights. Other then that I love it just the way it is. Thanks for the help and replys. This is a great source for info. Stand by for more future questions!!

The Willy's had the camo seats, and matching green softtop. From what I can tell on the pic, the top is green. ? Great looking Jeep. Don't think it's been off road much with those steps on it. I don't think they would have survived. Might want to get rid of those if your plan is to wheel it.

It could just be a stock TJ with the camo seats and other things put into it...

PM me your VIN and I can pull a build sheet to see what it came with from the factory if you would like.

Finally figured it out. It is a Jeep Willys edtion. The VIN number says it is and after the first time I waxed it I could see where the previous owner took off the decals. Now I gotta buff that out! Thanks for all the help..especially you Hardermods :o)
