Question on TJ and Sunrider tops

I had an 98 TJ and loved it. I am looking at getting a new jeep.

I thought that the sunrider top--that peels back--was only available from the factory for JK models.

I ran into a guy that swears he has a regular 2006 Rubicon (NOT UNLIMITED or 4DR) with a factory sunrider top.

Was the sunrider an option for all 2006 models? Was it standard for Rubicons and optional for all others?

I tried researching but it only said it was available for UNLIMITED--which he does not have.

Thanks

Not certain what they offered from the factory, but Sunrider definitely is available as an aftermarket option. It's the same top - we make the OEM for Chrysler.

Here in Europe all 2003-2006 TJs came with the sunrider softtop.
I really love it.

@ Geoff@Bestop:
I will order some new windows for my top in the US this winter. Here in Germany the Jeep parts store want to have about 500 Euros (about 750$) for 3 tinted Bestop windows.
