quick discos

so i got some quick disconnects and installed them and am going on a trip soon. and was wondering if when i disconnect will the sway bar swing down and damage nething or do i need to tie it in place??

you need to tie it up
didnt you sway bar disconects come with frame mounts

If you don't have a frame tie up,you can sometimes, push them back enough to rest them above the coil bucket. OR fold them up and buggie them in place.

I bent the sway bar as much up as poosible and then I use zip ties to attach the disconnected sway bar end links to it.

id get a set of mounts, I got these from Rubicon express. sorry for the crappy pic but its all i could find. you can see mine swing up and attach above the coil bucket

the ones i have disconnect at both ends i was wondering about the sway bar itself. ill get pics on here and show you what mine look like. hey rawkon where can i find a set of mounts??

Look very closely at the top-front of the coil spring mount and you'll see a small opening/hole you can pass a zip-tie through so you can secure the antiswaybar up and out of the way. It's where the front part of the upper spring mount is welded to the frame and right at antiswaybar height.
