Quick Hard Top Question

Can anyone with a Mopar hard top give me a horizontal measurement on the back window access? I'm looking to pick up a dog crate for my pooch today after work and want to make sure his will fit through the back window and into the rear seat (he rides shotgun). The size of crate I'm looking at will fold down to 36" by 24". Thanks!

20.5 x 45 clearance taking the lifts on the sides and the wiper motor at the top into consideration. You may be able to wrestle it at an angle but that's what it measures.

What year and make Jeep? A TJ rear compartment is about 3" cube. 24"x36" will easily fit through the back window. Even if you have to tilt it a bit. Why not just put it on top of the Jeep? You don't even need to fold it down. That way, the dog can ride on TOP of the Jeep and have a really great view!

Like I said, it folds flat so I'm only really concerned about the 45"--thanks a ton!! I wanted to coordinate with someone off CL for the crate but wasn't going to be home to measure before about 6...

Good looking out
