Quick lift

So, my whole plan about lifting my jeep, throwing some 33's on it and just making it pretty is getting slimmer and slimmer. without thinking to begin with, i realized that any modification i do to it is going to void my warranty. so...my question is, does anyone have any good idea about something that is easy to remove if necessary to fulfill this plan of mine or am i gonna be stock with a fairly stock tj?

I'm not even sure if your allowed to have over sized tires without voiding the warranty quite honestly. I'm not sure about this, but I think some where along the line to heard this.

Start with things you can use when the warranty runs out. If you want 33's I think you will need at least a 15x8 rim. If your existing rims are already 15x8 stockers your halfway there. Put some 31x10.5's on there. That will give you an aggressive look and the tires I believe are within warranty specs. If your rims are 15x7 31's will fit also. Other than that you will have to ride the warranty out What year is it? 2006? IF you have the 7 year only 3 more to go, earlier model, less to go.

Lift it and learn how to wrench on it and fix things that come up.
There's plenty of write-ups on the net to help with most issues.

It kindof depends on the warranty company and dealer as well.

I lifted mine and they still warrantied it during the time frame.

Nothing you put on it will be a quick on/off. A 2" spacer lift is not that hard to do although it's time consuming.

If you plan on keeping this thing past the warranty just go out and do what you want to it. To save any kind of money you need to learn how to diagnose and work on your on vehicle anyways.

Jeeps are a pretty simple vehicle. Much easier to work on than anyother car in its year..

if ur modification isnt at fault then it should not void ur warrantee. the shop has to prove that what ever you modified is what caused something to break. at least that is the case with dealership warranties on new vehicles. after market warranties might do some different things in the fine print.

yeah, i feel ya there. dealing with dealerships can be a pain. and sometimes it can be easier to just avoid having the issues with them in the first place.
