Cool Quick Question...

I just got my rig about two months ago and love driving it with the doors off. my question is how do u turn the lights off that turn on when the doors are open? is there a fuse that you pull? any help would be great.

If its a newer jeep (03+?) then remove the glove box by first opening, then sliding the strap out (away from the console) of the glove box, then remove the glove box. You may need to let it roll down on the hinges a little to get it out. The strap is the only thing holding it in, besides the half-hinges.

Once the glove box is out, pull the #4 fuse. Should be a 10 amp, somewhere in the bottom right corner. Will be marked 4 on the panel.

Thats for newer Jeeps, for older ones, you may need a door clip or wire up a switch

my 99.. i pulled out the little push things that are on the side of the door opening when the door is off.. i just pulled it out and unplugged it at its connector.. ill try and take some pictures of it tomorrow..

the lights only turn on when i turn them on now =D but u can always put them back on.. they save u 20$ from buyin the pins for them
