this is directly from their website... "Superwinch's global manufacturing facilities have grown to design and produce a broad range of winches..."

I didn't take the time to look for a definite YES but according to the magic 8-ball, all signs point to yes.

I'm pretty sure a few models are American made, but I believe they also have a lot of Chinese made as well... I would still trust Superwinch over Smittybilt however, but that's just my opinion.

Yup they are based out of CT if that helps. About 1/2 of my club runs some version of a Superwinch and I have not heard of anyone having an issue.

I personally have one and could not speak any higher of it. Superwinch boasts some of the lowest power consumption for their class. This means less straining your battery/alt than other brands. I for one can vouch for this since I had the pleasure of having to use my Superwinch quite a few times to get off a trail in a situation that I could not start my jeep. It still pulled plenty hard each time even running just on battery alone. I dont think I would have had the same experience if I had been running a Warn.

Huge cut in weight and has worked great so far. Gotten about 40 pulls on it so far and nothing negative to say. They dont use their own rope. Its actually made by Viking.
