99 wrangler sahara...anyone show/tell me what all has to be removed to get the trim facing off around the radio/ ac area? Radio adapter kit is loose and need to tighten but dont want to break dash trying to get it off.

There are two screws up near the defrost vents. They are under the plastic so you have to lift it up but you just unscrew those and the whole black part will just pop right off. It's very simple to do. The hardest part is getting the screws out and that's not that hard

Just so you do not break it, the entire defrost plastic panel must be removed to access the top screws. It is held in by friction clips so start on one end and gently pry up until you get the feel working your way down.. do not lift or pry by the grill as they will break. The screws are behind the top tray under where the defrost grill was.
