radio question

the controls stopped working on my stock radio in 2000 tj. i replaced with an aftermarkey pioneer. looks and sounds great but...... most times when i turn on directional or wipers - it interrupts the signal for a split second. kind of annoying. what did i do wrong or how can i fix it.

thx - tin
