Radio replacement

Are there any online diagrams of how to get the center cover off to replace the radio?

I removed the 2 vents, no screws there.

I removed the ash tray, 1 screw there?

Any online chiltons for these?

2001 wrangler, no ac, 5 speed.

You have to pull the defrost vent over up, then there are 2 screws up there

Here is a write up that should help Aftermarket Radio in a TJ

it shows removing the top like I said, but he doesn't have an ashtray so no screw there, but you already found that one

After removing the screws, just pull. There are friction clips

This.

The defrost outlet cover is a narrow plastic strip as wide as the windshield. It is held in place via friction clips; just lift upward (carefully) starting at one end and then proceed down the length of it. Once that is out of the way, you will see the two Phillips screws holding the stereo cover piece in place.
