My radio worked fine until last week and now it is not getting any power. I did the obvious and checked the fuse but that was not the problem. The only thing I can think of was the day it stopped working it was very foggy the night before and moisture got inside. It has been in the garage for a few days to dry out but still nothing. I also used the heater that day for the first time since I've owned the jeep (5mo) and am not sure if that could have triggered something. It's an aftermarket pioneer on a 98 Sahara. Thoughts?
A lot of aftermarket units have their own fuse either in the back of the unit or in the harness, with the dampness it may have popped. You will have to remove the center bezel to get at the radio fastners.
