Can't speak to the Dirty Dog nets but I do have the Raingler nets on my TJ and they make a fantastic product, very high quality and super-strong. I can't imagine anything better. But, they are pricey.
I have a set from jeepcargonet.com. I wanted one that I could use with the top up and windows out, or top down. I leave the net on all the time. I also got their dog barrier to keep the pups out of my lap. The side nets come with hooks to secure them at the bottom so the dogs can't get out under the net. But I did add a "bar" that goes into the lower rear window brackets that I bungee the net to so the dogs won't sneak under the back net.
Can you guys post some pics of your Nets ? I have a Smittybilt cause I needed something immediately as my dog is almost always with me but I would like to get a better system now. Thanks
I have Raingler nets. I put them on when I bought them about 9 years ago and have yet to remove them. You do not have to remove the nets to use either your hard top or soft top.
I have the DD net system. I love it!!! Very tough. All the joints are held together by galvanized grommets. Installed in about 30mins. It would be nice if the price came down a little, but other than that I'm very happy.
My son and I both have the Raingler nets and we love them. We use them primarily to keep our golden retrievers in the jeep, but they also work well as a theft deterrent. They stay on year around with or without the soft top. As an added benefit I do get a lot of compliments too.
I checked out the Dirty Dog nets and they are by far my Favorites, but WOW ! $$$$.
I will have to wait for a sale or my Xmass bonus from work.
They seem bullet proof and I like the access to the Tub via the quick release buckles in the back. That's a Huge Deal for me. I have no easy access with my Smittybilt
JeepCargoNets.com makes nets for a few different companies (including one vendor on here).... those companies have a different label stuck on them and then jack the prices up ALOT..... over $100 was added to the one I ordered.
Just because it cost more doesn't mean it is better.... may just mean you are over paying for it.
I've known the Raingler people for years, from when they first started, and their quality and support is hard to beat.
