Rampage Grille Guard

Has anyone used these Rampage Grille Guards before? I was thinking it would be a cheaper way of getting some protection for the front of the Jeep, rather than buying a new bumper. Any good/bad experiences with them?

The stock fog lamps would need to be relocated, I was thinking I could just move them closer together under the middle bar. Is it ok to just drill new holes in the stock bumper to relocate the fog lights?

Hehe, notice how they have the tow hooks pointing the wrong way in the picture?

It shouldn't hurt to move them to the middle. Just make sure you sight them in properly, don't want to go blinding someone when you turn them on.

Not sure how much real protection they would give other than the occasional tree branch hanging in the way. But I guess some is better than none...

Well I finally got the grill guard and am happy with it. It was fairly easy to install, and seems pretty solid, too.

Why is it called a "euro" grill guard. Is that how they do it over there?

I'm not sure, I was wondering the same thing.
